These features make it a strong choice for large yards seeking extensive climbing options and a dedicated snack area.

How these cedar sets differ
Backyard Discovery Mount McKinley Cedar Swing Set
The Backyard Discovery Mount McKinley Cedar Swing Set is narrower at 150 inches wide, making it a better fit for yards with limited lateral space. It shares the same 119-inch height and cedar material as the Endeavor II, ensuring similar durability and aesthetic appeal. However, it sacrifices length, measuring 186 inches deep compared to the Endeavor II’s 238 inches. This compact footprint reduces the overall play area but simplifies installation. You should choose this model if you prefer a more manageable structure while still wanting a raised deck and climbing features. It drops the dedicated picnic table area found on the Endeavor II, focusing instead on core swinging and climbing elements. The weight is also lighter at 308 pounds, which may ease assembly efforts.
Backyard Discovery Canyon Creek Cedar Playset
The Backyard Discovery Canyon Creek Cedar Playset offers a wider footprint at 183 inches, providing more lateral play space than the Endeavor II’s 121-inch width. It maintains the same 119-inch height and cedar construction, ensuring comparable structural integrity. This model is designed for multi-zone play, appealing to families who want distinct activity areas within a single structure. It includes a climbing wall and slide, similar to the Endeavor II, but arranges them to maximize the wider yard space. You should pick this set if your yard allows for a broader installation and you prioritize varied play zones. It weighs 387 pounds, which is lighter than the Endeavor II, potentially simplifying transport and setup. The green slide color matches the most common Endeavor II variant.
Backyard Discovery Beach Front Cedar Swing Set
The Backyard Discovery Beach Front Cedar Swing Set provides a unique sandbox feature alongside its swings and slide, which the Endeavor II lacks. It is narrower at 173 inches but significantly shorter in length at 169 inches, making it suitable for yards where depth is constrained. The height is nearly identical at 118 inches, maintaining similar safety profiles. This set weighs only 276 pounds, the lightest in this comparison, which may make it easier to assemble. You should choose this option if you want a dedicated sand play area for younger children alongside traditional swinging. It gives up the elevated deck experience of the Endeavor II, offering a more ground-focused play environment. The multicolor design offers a different visual style compared to the Endeavor II’s green wave slide.
Sportspower Cedar Wooden Playset with Saucer Swing
The Sportspower Cedar Wooden Playset with Saucer Swing is notably smaller, measuring 107 inches wide and 137 inches long. It is also shorter at 98 inches high, making it less suitable for older children who prefer high platforms. This model is designed for older kids and heavy use, boasting a 500 lb capacity, which exceeds the Endeavor II’s implied limits. It features a saucer swing and a durable slide, offering a different type of play experience. You should pick this set if you need a more compact structure for a smaller yard or if you prioritize a high weight capacity over extensive climbing features. It lacks the raised deck and picnic table of the Endeavor II. The lifetime warranty is a significant advantage for long-term durability, though the smaller footprint limits simultaneous play options.
Backyard Discovery Sterling Point Cedar Swing Set
The Backyard Discovery Sterling Point Cedar Swing Set is substantially larger, measuring 246 inches wide and 201 inches deep. It is also taller at 130 inches, offering a more imposing presence and potentially more complex climbing challenges. This model weighs 606 pounds, the heaviest in this list, indicating a robust construction. It includes a raised clubhouse and multiple climbing features, catering to families who want a substantial play structure. You should choose this set if you have a very large yard and desire a premium, feature-rich cedar playset. It gives up the compact manageability of the Endeavor II, requiring more space and potentially more complex assembly. The green slide matches the Endeavor II’s common color option. The 5-year warranty aligns with the Endeavor II, providing similar peace of mind.
Gorilla Playsets Outing Cedar Dual Slide Swing Set
The Gorilla Playsets Outing Cedar Dual Slide Swing Set offers two slides instead of the single wave slide found on the Endeavor II. It is wider at 180 inches but shorter in length at 150 inches, making it suitable for yards with ample width but limited depth. The height is 126 inches, slightly taller than the Endeavor II’s 119 inches. This model weighs 293 pounds, lighter than the Endeavor II, which may ease installation. You should pick this set if you want dual sliding options for simultaneous play and value shade coverage. It lacks the raised deck and picnic table of the Endeavor II, focusing instead on sliding and swinging. The yellow color provides a distinct visual contrast to the Endeavor II’s green slide. The natural cedar build ensures similar durability and resistance to decay.
