How these compare to Durango
Backyard Discovery Endeavor Cedar Swing Set
The Endeavor Cedar Swing Set is significantly larger than the Durango, measuring 137 inches wide and 242 inches long. It offers a much more comprehensive play experience with climbing and swinging features suitable for the same 3 to 10 age range. While the Durango is a focused A-frame with two swings, the Endeavor provides extensive structures for spacious backyards. It weighs 550 pounds, offering greater stability but requiring more floor space. Choose this if you need a larger cedar playset with varied activities rather than just simple swinging.
Backyard Discovery Mount McKinley Cedar Swing Set
The Mount McKinley Cedar Swing Set provides more activity variety than the Durango, including climbing and sliding options. It measures 150 inches wide and 186 inches long, making it suitable for large yards. Like the Durango, it is constructed from cedar wood, ensuring natural durability and decay resistance. However, it is heavier at 308 pounds and offers a broader play zone. This set is ideal for families who want more than just two belt swings and have the yard space to accommodate a larger, multi-feature structure for children aged 3 to 10.
Backyard Discovery Canyon Creek Cedar Playset
The Canyon Creek Cedar Playset features multi-level play zones, distinguishing it from the single-level Durango A-frame. It measures 183 inches wide and 188 inches long, requiring substantial yard space. Constructed from cedar, it shares the natural material benefits of the Durango but adds complexity with its design. Weighing 387 pounds, it is a substantial structure for active children. This option suits buyers who value extensive play areas and climbing features over the simple, classic swinging experience provided by the Durango's two belt swings.
SuniBoxi Solid Fir Wood 10-in-1 Playset
The SuniBoxi Solid Fir Wood 10-in-1 Playset uses fir wood instead of cedar, offering a different material profile. It measures 193 inches wide and 173 inches long, providing a large footprint for active group play. Designed for children aged 3 to 10, it offers more features than the Durango's two swings. Weighing 290 pounds, it is a robust option for spacious yards. Choose this if you want a multi-feature setup with varied activities and do not strictly require cedar wood construction, preferring a larger, fir-based structure for dynamic play.
Backyard Discovery Beach Front Cedar Swing Set
The Beach Front Cedar Swing Set includes climbing, swinging, and sensory play features, unlike the Durango's focus on swinging. It measures 173 inches wide and 169 inches long, fitting large yards. Made from cedar, it shares the natural durability of the Durango but offers a more complex structure. Weighing 276 pounds, it is lighter than the larger Endeavor but still substantial. This set is ideal for children who enjoy varied activities like sliding and rock climbing, providing a comprehensive wooden playset experience beyond the classic A-frame design.
KDYMOD 2-in-1 Metal Swing Set
The KDYMOD 2-in-1 Metal Swing Set is a metal alternative to the wooden Durango, offering rust-resistant durability. It measures 57 inches wide and 99 inches long, making it suitable for small patios or limited spaces. Designed for children aged 3 to 10, it provides a low-maintenance option compared to cedar wood. It lacks the natural aesthetic and weight of the Durango but offers easy assembly and stability in compact areas. Choose this if you prioritize space efficiency and rust-proof materials over the traditional cedar wood construction and larger footprint of the Durango.
