Who it fits

Sportspower Sierra Vista Key Specs

Assembled Dimensions: 124"L x 102"W x 72"H

This footprint requires a medium to large backyard. You need over 10 feet of width and length for the structure itself, plus additional clearance for safe swinging. Compare this to smaller sets that fit in tight spaces. The 72-inch height allows for standard swing lengths without hitting the ground. Verify your yard can accommodate this area before purchasing.

Weight Capacity: 100 lbs each, 400 lbs total

Each seat holds up to 100 pounds, while the entire frame supports 400 pounds combined. This suits most children but may limit usage for larger teens or adults. When shopping, check if other sets offer higher per-seat limits. This capacity ensures stability during active play. It allows multiple kids to use the set simultaneously without risking structural stress or safety.

Number of Swings: 2 swing seats, 1 trapeze

The set provides three distinct play options for up to four children. Two standard swings allow for parallel play, while the trapeze offers active hanging exercises. This variety keeps kids engaged longer. Compare this to sets with only one swing type. The trapeze adds value for older children who enjoy gymnastics-style activities, enhancing the set's versatility.

Slide Type: Wavy slide

The wavy design provides a slightly more dynamic ride than a straight slide. It adds visual interest and can control speed through its curves. This type is common in metal playsets. When comparing, note that wavy slides may feel narrower than wide plastic ones. It offers a classic playground experience suitable for younger children and toddlers.

Steel Construction and Dimensions

The structure uses 2-inch heavy-duty steel tubes. This gauge offers superior durability against daily wear. The metal is finished with a powder-coated paint layer. This coating resists weather damage and helps prevent rust over time. The set weighs 74 pounds. This mass provides stability but requires two people for safe assembly. The frame measures 124 inches in length and 102 inches in width. It stands 72 inches tall. You need a medium to large backyard to fit this footprint comfortably. The blue and white color scheme is standard for this model.

The layout supports up to four children at once. It includes two swing seats and one trapeze bar. The swing chains are adjustable. You can change the height to suit different ages or skill levels. The trapeze allows for active swinging and twirling. A wavy slide is also included. This slide type adds variety to the play options. The set supports 100 pounds per user. The total weight capacity is 400 pounds. These limits ensure safe use for growing kids. The structure meets ASTM safety standards. It includes pre-drilled holes for easy assembly. You must purchase an anchor kit separately. Anchoring is required for added stability and safety. The design focuses on functional outdoor play rather than complex features.

Setup And Everyday Use Details

Setting up this swing set requires attention to its substantial footprint and weight. The assembled dimensions measure 124 inches long, 102 inches wide, and 72 inches high. You need a medium to large backyard to accommodate this structure comfortably. The unit weighs 74 pounds, which makes it manageable for assembly but heavy enough to stay grounded once built. The manufacturer notes that components are pre-drilled for assembly, which simplifies the initial construction phase. Safety is a priority, as the set meets or exceeds ASTM safety standards. However, stability relies on your installation. The product supports an anchoring set for added stability, though the anchor kit is not included. You must purchase and install these anchors separately to ensure the structure remains secure during use.

Everyday use centers on the included features. The set provides two swing seats and one trapeze bar. The swing chains are adjustable, allowing you to customize the height for different children or play styles. This adjustability supports both gentle swinging and more active twirling on the trapeze. The wavy slide adds variety to the play options. The structure supports children weighing up to 100 pounds each, with a total capacity of 400 pounds. This allows up to four children to play simultaneously. The blue and white powder-coated finish helps the set withstand outdoor weather conditions. You should ensure the ground beneath is level and clear of obstacles to maximize safety and enjoyment during daily play sessions.

Before You Buy This Set

You need to verify your yard space before ordering. This set measures 124 inches long and 102 inches wide. You must ensure you have adequate clearance for safe swinging. The structure requires an anchoring kit for stability, which is not included in the box. You will need to purchase this separately to meet safety standards. The steel tubes are powder-coated, so you should inspect the finish periodically. Touch up any scratches to prevent rust. The set supports up to 100 pounds per swing seat. Ensure your children fit within this weight limit. This model suits families wanting a durable, multi-activity set. It stands out for its heavy-duty steel construction compared to lighter wood options. You should also check that all pre-drilled holes align correctly during assembly. Proper installation ensures the structure remains stable during active play. This set is ideal for medium to large backyards. It provides variety with swings, a trapeze, and a slide.

Check before you buy

• Verify your backyard has enough space for the 124-inch length.
• Purchase the separate anchoring kit for added stability.
• Check that children weigh less than 100 pounds each.
• Inspect the powder-coated finish for scratches after assembly.
