Who it fits

Sportspower Mt. Washington Key Specs

Weight Capacity: 1,200 lbs

This total limit allows multiple users to swing simultaneously without stressing the frame. It supports the whole family, including adults, unlike sets rated for lighter loads. You can fit more children or heavier users on the structure at once. This capacity ensures stability during active play, reducing sway and wobble. It is a robust choice for households with older kids or parents who join in the fun.

Material: Powder-coated steel

The frame uses thick, rust-resistant steel with a protective coating. This finish resists weather damage and chipping, extending the set's life outdoors. You need minimal upkeep to keep it looking good. The material is heavier and more durable than standard painted wood or thin metal. It withstands rain and sun exposure better, making it a reliable long-term investment for your backyard.

Assembled Dimensions: 10ft 6in L x 6ft 11in W x 7ft 4in H

The footprint covers a medium to large area, requiring careful planning for your yard space. The height allows for a longer swing arc and bigger thrills. You must ensure there is ample clearance around the set for safe operation. This size fits well in spacious backyards but may be tight for smaller lots. Measure your space thoroughly before assembly to avoid fit issues.

Number of Swings: 4

The set includes two sling swings, a skyflyer carpet swing, and a trapeze bar. This variety supports different play styles and ages simultaneously. You can accommodate more children at once compared to standard two-swing setups. The trapeze bar adds gymnastics-style play, while the carpet swing offers a group seating option. This configuration maximizes entertainment value and keeps kids engaged for longer periods.

Design and Build Details

The frame is constructed from powder-coated steel, which the listing describes as rust-resistant and weather-resistant. This finish is thicker than standard options, aiming to reduce upkeep over time. The structure measures 10ft 6in in length and 6ft 11in in width. It stands 7ft 4in tall. This height allows for a higher swing arc. The set weighs 88 pounds. This mass helps stabilize the unit on the ground. You will need to anchor it using the included kit. The listing notes that these anchors provide extra stability right out of the box.

The layout includes two sling swings and a large 2-person skyflyer carpet swing. A trapeze bar is also included, which can replace one sling swing if you prefer. Each swing supports up to 400 lbs individually. The ropes are steel-core, wrapped in soft material, and height-adjustable. This adjustability lets the set grow with your children. The colors are gray and green. These tones blend into outdoor spaces. The design fits medium to large backyards. You should ensure you have the required footprint before assembly. The assembly requires ground mounting and follows a step-by-step manual. All hardware is included, so you do not need extra trips to the store.

Setup and Everyday Use Guide

Assembly requires no extra trips to the hardware store because the box includes all necessary hardware and a step-by-step manual. The set is ground-mounted, so you will need a flat area measuring at least 10ft 6in by 6ft 11in. The frame weighs 88 pounds, making it manageable for two people to position before securing. The listing includes a four-piece anchor kit to ensure ground stability right out of the box. This helps prevent shifting during use.

Daily operation involves switching between four swing positions. The set comes with two classic sling swings, a large 43 by 31-inch two-person skyflyer carpet swing, and a bonus trapeze bar. You can swap the trapeze bar for a sling swing if you prefer more seating. Each swing supports up to 400 lbs individually. The steel-core ropes are height-adjustable, allowing you to lower them for younger children or raise them for older kids and adults. The galvanized steel cable is wrapped in soft rope for comfort.

With a total capacity of 1,200 lbs, the frame handles multiple users simultaneously. The powder-coated steel resists rust and weather, meaning you do not need to treat the metal after rain. The structure exceeds ASTM safety standards through 28-point testing. You can leave the set outside with minimal upkeep. The design fits medium to large backyards while providing extra height for a longer swing arc.

Before you buy this set

You need to ensure your yard has enough clearance. The set measures 10ft 6in by 6ft 11in, so check for fences or trees. You must also verify your ground is level for stable ground mounting. Since it weighs 88 pounds, you may need help during assembly. The steel ropes are height-adjustable, which is useful as children grow. You should inspect the powder-coated finish for scratches after installation to prevent rust. This set stands out for its 1,200 lb capacity, unlike lighter plastic alternatives. It fits well if you want durable metal construction. Compare it with wood sets if you prefer natural materials. Ensure you have the space for the included swings. The trapeze bar replaces one swing, so plan your layout. Regularly tighten bolts to maintain safety. This option suits families needing high weight limits.

Check before you buy

• Check yard clearance for 10ft 6in length and 6ft 11in width.
• Verify ground is level for stable ground mounting installation.
• Confirm you have help to handle the 88 lb weight.
• Ensure space for all four included swings and trapeze bar.
