6 Best Alternatives to the LIFETIME Adventure Tower Deluxe Swing Set (2026)

The Lifetime Adventure Tower Deluxe combines a 795-pound steel and HDPE build with a hardtop covered clubhouse, a 9-foot wavy slide, monkey bars, a climbing wall, and a fireman’s pole. If you are comparing lifetime adventure tower deluxe swing set alternatives, you might need a different footprint, material, or play configuration for your yard. The original unit measures 234 inches wide, 194 inches long, and 130 inches high, including two belt swings and a trapeze bar with rubber-coated chains.
You may prefer a cedar wood frame instead of steel and HDPE, or specific play features like dual slides, an enclosed tube slide, or a 10-foot slide. Other yards require a more compact layout than this large playset, such as options measuring under 190 inches in length. The 6 alternatives on this list were chosen because their specifications overlap with the original model in elevated deck play, climbing elements, and swing positions. Reviewing these dimensions, materials, and components will help you identify the right playset for your backyard in 2026.
Our top pick: Lifetime Adventure Tower Swing Set with 9-Foot Slide.
How Adventure Tower Alternatives Compare
Gorilla Playsets Outing Dual Slide Wood Swing Set
The Gorilla Playsets Outing Dual Slide features a wooden build that weighs 353 pounds, less than half the 795-pound steel and HDPE frame of the Lifetime Adventure Tower. Its footprint measures 180 inches wide, 186 inches long, and 114 inches high, saving space in both width and height. It provides two distinct slide styles and a four-foot deck. However, you give up the longer nine-foot wavy slide, monkey bars, climbing wall, and fireman's pole. The wooden structure also requires maintenance that steel and plastic avoid. Pick this playset if you have a smaller yard and prefer two slides over monkey bars.
Lifetime Big Stuff Two-Slide Swing Set
The Lifetime Big Stuff Two-Slide playset keeps the low-maintenance HDPE build of the Adventure Tower but includes two nine-foot slides instead of one. Its frame measures 165 inches wide and 181 inches long, making it narrower and shorter than the 234-by-194-inch Adventure Tower. At 725 pounds, it remains heavy and anchored without needing wood treatments. What you sacrifice is the elevated tower design, monkey bars, climbing wall, and fireman's pole. You also lose clubhouse accessories like the ship's wheel and car map. Choose this model if you want two full nine-foot slides and durable plastic construction while saving yard width.
Backyard Discovery Skyfort Cedar Swing Set with Dual Slides
Backyard Discovery's Skyfort Cedar Swing Set upgrades your slide experience by pairing a ten-foot wave slide with an enclosed tube slide. Standing 148 inches tall with a 201-inch width and 234-inch length, it reaches higher and stretches longer than the 130-inch-high, 194-inch-long Adventure Tower. The 777-pound cedar structure features multi-deck clubhouse play. In return, you lose the weather-resistant steel and HDPE construction, requiring you to care for cedar wood. You also give up the fireman's pole and monkey bars. Select this model if you want multi-deck elevation and two slide options, including a ten-foot wave slide, in a deep yard.
Lifetime Big Stuff Playset with Tube Slide
The Lifetime Big Stuff Playset replaces the open nine-foot wavy slide with an enclosed tube slide and adds an integrated mini go-round. Like the Adventure Tower, it uses earthtone weather-resistant materials and rubber-coated swing chains. At 625 pounds, it is 170 pounds lighter than the 795-pound Adventure Tower, making site prep slightly easier. You give up the open wavy slide, the high clubhouse tower, monkey bars, and the fireman's pole. You also lose the integrated car map and ship's wheel. Pick this playset if your priority is enclosed tube sliding and a spinning ride on a low-maintenance plastic frame rather than an open slide and overhead climbing bars.
Backyard Discovery Woodridge Elite Cedar Swing Set
The Backyard Discovery Woodridge Elite features a larger ten-foot wave slide compared to the nine-foot slide on the Adventure Tower. Built from cedar, it supports up to 15 kids and adds unique elevated features like a crawl tunnel and crow's nest. It stands taller at 141 inches and stretches longer at 231 inches, while narrowing slightly to 188 inches wide. To get these features, you trade away the durable steel and HDPE construction, meaning you must maintain the cedar wood. You also lose the monkey bars and fireman's pole. Choose the Woodridge Elite if you host large groups of up to 15 kids and want elevated tunnel exploration.
Backyard Discovery Skyfort II Cedar Swing Set
The Backyard Discovery Skyfort II offers a longer ten-foot wave slide and a dual-level cedar clubhouse while retaining monkey bars like the Adventure Tower. It stands higher at 148 inches and spans 263 inches long, requiring 69 more inches of yard depth than the 194-inch Lifetime playset. At 710 pounds, it is slightly lighter than the 795-pound original. Choosing this set means switching from steel and HDPE to cedar, which requires routine wood care. You also give up the fireman's pole and molded car map. Pick the Skyfort II if you have an extra-long yard and want a multi-level cedar fort with a longer ten-foot slide without giving up monkey bars.
