How alternatives compare to Ozark II
Gorilla Playsets Avalon Swing Set with Vinyl Canopy
The Gorilla Playsets Avalon shifts from a rectangular footprint to a square 150-by-150-inch layout. This design reduces the overall length by 72 inches compared to the Ozark II, making it a better fit for narrower yards. It maintains three swing stations and includes a slide and climbing wall. The total capacity reaches 800 pounds, supporting more simultaneous users. You trade the Ozark’s 222-inch length for a more compact square shape. Choose this if your yard width is limited but you still want a full activity center with cedar construction and vinyl canopy shade.
Gorilla Playsets High Point Wooden Swing Set
The Gorilla Playsets High Point matches the Ozark II’s 222-inch length and 108-inch width exactly. It shares the same 419-pound weight and three-station swing configuration. The main difference is the inclusion of a slide alongside the climbing wall. Both units cover the same age range of 3 to 11 years. The High Point features an amber finish instead of green. This model is ideal if you want the same large footprint and swing capacity but prefer a slide over the Ozark’s specific station setup. It offers a standard shaded configuration with similar dimensions.
Gorilla Playsets Avalon Treehouse Swing Set
The Gorilla Playsets Avalon Treehouse adopts the same 150-by-150-inch square footprint as the standard Avalon. It is significantly shorter at 126 inches high compared to the Ozark II’s 108-inch height, though the height difference is modest. This model features a treehouse theme and dual slide styles. It weighs 353 pounds, which is lighter than the Ozark II. You gain two distinct slides and a treehouse aesthetic but lose the longer rectangular layout. Pick this if you want a themed structure with multiple sliding options within a compact square boundary.
Backyard Discovery Canyon Creek Cedar Playset
The Backyard Discovery Canyon Creek uses a different dimensional profile with an 188-inch length and 183-inch width. It is constructed from cedar, matching the material class but differing in specific wood treatment. This set combines swing and playhouse stations, offering elevated ground-level play options. It includes a green slide and is backed by a 5-year warranty. The weight is 387 pounds. You get a more integrated playhouse experience with a different footprint. Choose this if you prefer a cedar build with a warranty and mixed ground and elevated play zones.
Gorilla Playsets Outing Swing Set with Dual Slides
The Gorilla Playsets Outing Swing Set features a 186-inch length and 180-inch width, creating a wider but shorter footprint than the Ozark II. It stands 126 inches high. This model includes dual slides, a wave slide and a tube slide, on a 4-foot deck. It weighs 349 pounds, making it lighter than the Ozark II. You gain variety in sliding styles and a compact deck structure. This option is best if you want multiple slide types without the longer rectangular frame. It provides dual slide variety on a smaller overall length.
Sportspower Aspen Vinyl-Covered Wood Swing Set
The Sportspower Aspen Vinyl-Covered Wood Swing Set is vastly smaller, measuring 73.2 inches in length and 91.7 inches in width. It stands only 84.7 inches high and weighs just 112 pounds. This is a low-maintenance vinyl-covered option designed for simpler play needs. It lacks the extensive climbing walls, slides, and multiple swing stations of the Ozark II. The footprint is minimal, fitting in much smaller spaces. Choose this if you need a basic, durable swing set for limited yard space. It offers a straightforward, warranty-backed solution without complex attachments or large dimensions.
