Best Choice Products 47-Inch Cedar Sandbox with Benches

The Best Choice Products model offers slightly wider dimensions at 47.3 inches wide compared to the Badger Basket’s 46.5 inches. It weighs 32.5 pounds, providing a stable base for folding benches that double as a cover. You get a 47-inch square footprint for play, which is comparable to the original. This option suits families who need integrated seating and a sturdy wooden box. It lacks a canopy, so weather protection remains partial like the Badger Basket. Choose this if you prefer a broader surface area and reliable bench storage without the need for additional shade structures.

Mederra 46.5" Cedar Sandbox with Canopy

The Mederra sandbox includes a retractable canopy, offering superior weather protection compared to the Badger Basket’s partial cover. Its dimensions reach 46 inches in height, creating a more enclosed play space. You gain shade and debris protection that the folding benches alone cannot provide. The footprint is similar at 46 inches square, keeping it compact for smaller yards. This model includes benches for seating, maintaining the convenience of the original. Select this alternative if rain protection and UV shade are priorities for your child’s play area. It is ideal for locations with intense sun or frequent rainfall where keeping the sand dry is essential.

Agitree 47" Wooden Sandbox with Canopy
