Backyard Discovery Woodridge Elite Cedar Swing Set
The Backyard Discovery Woodridge Elite Cedar Swing Set measures 231 inches long by 188 inches wide, making it slightly narrower than the Skyfort. It weighs 716 pounds, which is lighter than the Skyfort’s 777 pounds. This model features a crawl tunnel and a crow’s nest, offering different imaginative play options compared to the Skyfort’s sun deck and bay windows. The Woodridge Elite includes a 10-foot slide, similar to the Skyfort’s wave slide. It is designed for larger yards and multi-child play. If you prefer tunnel crawling over climbing walls, this structure provides a varied experience while maintaining a cedar build and substantial size.
Backyard Discovery Skyfort II Cedar Swing Set
The Backyard Discovery Skyfort II Cedar Swing Set is significantly larger, measuring 263 inches long by 201 inches wide. It weighs 710 pounds, which is lighter than the Skyfort All Cedar despite its greater length. This model includes monkey bars and versatile climbing options, replacing the Skyfort’s rock climbing wall and dual slides. The Skyfort II offers a sprawling play center with elevated decks. Its 5-year warranty on wood is longer than the Skyfort’s 1-year full warranty. This set is best for spacious yards needing multi-level play features. You get more climbing variety but lose the specific dual-slide configuration of the original Skyfort.
Backyard Discovery Mount McKinley Cedar Swing Set
The Backyard Discovery Mount McKinley Cedar Swing Set is much more compact, measuring 186 inches long by 150 inches wide. It weighs only 308 pounds, significantly less than the Skyfort’s 777 pounds. Backyard Discovery Canyon Creek Cedar Playset
The Backyard Discovery Canyon Creek Cedar Playset measures 188 inches long by 183 inches wide and weighs 387 pounds. It is lighter and narrower than the Skyfort. This model features dual balconies and an integrated ground-level kitchen, offering imaginative play distinct from the Skyfort’s snack stand. It includes a three-position swing beam and climbing features. The Canyon Creek provides mixed swings and pretend play in a versatile structure. It is suited for yards wanting active and imaginative play together. You give up the Skyfort’s dual slides and elevated crow’s nest. This set is a good alternative if you prefer ground-level kitchen play over extensive elevated structures.
