Key Specs Explained For This Set
Material: 100% cedar wood
Cedar wood is naturally resistant to decay and insect damage. This means the structure holds up well against outdoor elements without needing chemical treatments. You get a durable frame that maintains its integrity over time. When comparing playsets, cedar is often preferred over pressure-treated pine for its longevity and natural scent. It provides a sturdy foundation for all the attached features.
Assembled Dimensions: 183 in W x 188 in L x 119 in H
These measurements define the footprint and height of the entire unit. You need a yard space larger than 183 by 188 inches to allow for safe clearance around the structure. The 119-inch height indicates a substantial elevated clubhouse. Compare this to smaller sets that may fit in tighter spaces but offer less vertical play area. Ensure your patio or lawn can accommodate this large footprint.
Slide Type: 8-foot wave slide
An eight-foot length provides a longer, smoother ride compared to shorter slides. The wave design adds a gentle curve, reducing speed slightly for better control. This benefits older children who enjoy longer descents. When shopping, check slide length to ensure it matches your child's comfort level. A longer slide generally offers more excitement and engagement for active play sessions in the backyard.
Warranty: 5-year warranty
A five-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for half a decade. This offers peace of mind regarding the structural integrity of the wood and hardware. Compare this term with competitors that may offer only one or three years. A longer warranty period suggests the manufacturer stands behind the product's durability. It reduces long-term risk for your investment in outdoor play equipment.
Cedar Build and Spatial Layout
According to the listing, this playset is constructed from 100% cedar wood. This material choice provides natural resistance to decay and structural strength. The wood features a light brown stain with dark brown trim, though saturation may vary. You get a frame designed to withstand outdoor elements without chemical treatments. The structure includes a green slide option, with grey and white slide colors also available in other variations. The style comes in cedar or spruce options.
The assembled dimensions are 183 inches wide, 188 inches long, and 119 inches high. This footprint requires a significant backyard area for safe installation. The unit weighs 387 pounds, indicating a heavy, stable structure that does not shift during active play. The height variation in other models reaches 120 inches, but this specific cedar version sits at 119 inches.
The layout centers around an elevated clubhouse with two balconies and a wooden roof. Access is provided via a wide step ladder. Below, a lower playhouse features a toy BBQ grill, sink, and shaded picnic table with bench seating. These elements create distinct zones for climbing, swinging, and socializing. The design supports multiple children playing simultaneously without crowding. You can position the set where you have ample space for the large footprint and height clearance.
Assembly And Daily Use Guide
Setting up this playset requires significant space and effort. The assembled dimensions are 183 inches wide, 188 inches long, and 119 inches high. You must ensure your yard can accommodate this footprint. The unit weighs 387 pounds, so you will need multiple adults to move and position the components safely. Cedar wood is durable but heavy, making manual handling challenging without proper equipment.
Once assembled, the structure offers varied play zones. The elevated clubhouse features two balconies, a steering wheel, and a chalkboard. A wide step ladder provides access to this upper level. Below, the lower playhouse includes a toy BBQ grill, sink, and play food. A shaded picnic table with bench seating sits nearby for snacks or crafts.
Swing options include two durable belt swings and a web disc. The web disc allows for swinging and soaring motions. An 8-foot wave slide provides swift descents. For climbing, a rock wall with 12 holds and a rope assist encourages skill-building.
The manufacturer includes a 5-year warranty, which covers structural integrity. This applies to the cedar wood construction, which resists decay naturally. You do not need to treat the wood with chemicals. The slide comes in green, grey, or white. The wood stain may vary in saturation. Daily use involves rotating between swinging, sliding, climbing, and imaginative play in the clubhouses. The design supports multiple children playing simultaneously in different areas.
