Best Choice Products 47-Inch Cedar Sandbox with Benches

This Best Choice Products model is a square cedar sandbox measuring 47.3 inches wide and 49 inches long. It is significantly smaller than the 84x78 inch AMZOSS octagon, making it suitable for compact yards where space is limited. It includes integrated benches for seating, similar to the original, but uses cedar wood instead of fir. The height is 8.5 inches, which is slightly lower than the AMZOSS 9-inch depth. It weighs 32.5 pounds, making it much lighter and easier to move than the large octagon unit. Choose this if you need a smaller footprint with bench seating but do not require the large volume of the AMZOSS model.

Mederra 46.5" Cedar Sandbox with Canopy

The Mederra sandbox is a compact square unit measuring 46 inches on each side with a height of 46 inches. It is far smaller than the 84x78 inch AMZOSS octagon, designed for small yards or toddler play areas. It includes benches for seating, matching the original's social feature, but lacks the octagon shape and fir wood construction. The total footprint is roughly 2,116 square inches, compared to the AMZOSS's much larger surface area. It is made of cedar, offering different durability characteristics than fir. Select this option if you prioritize a small, contained play space for young children over the expansive digging area and larger seating capacity of the AMZOSS model.

This Agitree sandbox is a square fir wood unit measuring 47.6 inches wide and 47.2 inches long, with a height of 46.5 inches. It is much smaller than the 84x78 inch AMZOSS octagon, fitting into tight patios or small yards. It includes benches and a canopy for shade, whereas the AMZOSS relies on a separate waterproof cover. The Agitree is designed for children aged 3 to 8 years. It weighs 47 pounds, which is lighter than the large AMZOSS unit. Choose this if you want a shaded, compact play area for toddlers rather than a large, open octagon pit for group play with older children.

BCP 52x45 Wooden Sandbox with Canopy

The BCP 52x45 wooden sandbox is a rectangular unit measuring 52 inches by 45 inches, with a height of 53 inches. It is smaller in footprint than the 84x78 inch AMZOSS octagon but includes a water tank and canopy for interactive play. It features benches for seating, similar to the original. The height is greater than the AMZOSS 9-inch depth, creating a more enclosed sensory play area. It weighs 41 pounds, making it more portable than the large octagon. Pick this model if you want a compact, activity-focused sandbox with water features and shade, rather than a deep, open sandpit for building and digging.

BIRASIL 48" Wooden Sandbox with Canopy & Benches

This BIRASIL sandbox is a square fir wood unit measuring 48 inches on each side, with a height of 48 inches. It is significantly smaller than the 84x78 inch AMZOSS octagon, designed for yards where a square footprint fits better. It includes benches and a canopy for shade, adding features the AMZOSS does not have in the same configuration. It is intended for children aged 3 to 8 years. The weight is 42 pounds, making it lighter than the large octagon. Choose this if you need a shaded, compact play area with seating, rather than the large, open space and separate cover of the AMZOSS model.

Qaba Wooden Sandbox with Canopy & Benches

The Qaba sandbox is a rectangular unit measuring 72.4 inches long and 43.3 inches wide, with a height of 47.2 inches. It is longer than the AMZOSS octagon but narrower, offering a different shape for smaller yards. It includes benches and a canopy for adjustable shade, features that differ from the AMZOSS's separate cover. It weighs 32 pounds, making it much lighter and easier to move than the large octagon. The design focuses on versatility and compact storage. Select this model if you want a multi-use sandbox with integrated shade and seating in a smaller, rectangular footprint, rather than the wide, open octagon design of the AMZOSS.
