Key specs explained for this set
Weight Capacity: 440 lbs
This limit applies to the total load on the frame, not per seat. You can safely accommodate multiple children or an adult and child together. This capacity is higher than many basic plastic sets, allowing for heavier users. Check the manual for per-seat limits to ensure you do not exceed structural integrity during active play.
Material: Galvanized steel
The frame uses lead-free galvanized steel pipes that resist rust and fading. This material choice ensures durability against rain and sun exposure in your backyard. Unlike wood, it requires no painting or sealing. It also meets US safety certifications like CPC and CPSIA, providing a reliable structure for long-term outdoor use without frequent maintenance.
Number of Swings: 3 swings
This unit includes three distinct seats: a saucer swing, a belt seat, and a disc swing. This variety allows multiple children to play simultaneously without waiting. The different styles offer varied sensations, from spinning to standard swinging. This setup is ideal for families with more than one child or for sharing with neighbors in a shared yard space.
Installation Type: Ground-mounted, assembly required
You must anchor the A-frame into the ground using the included pegs for stability. This type of installation prevents tipping during vigorous use. Assembly is required, but the design aims for quick setup. Ensure you have a level, clear area for digging the anchor holes. This method provides better security than freestanding indoor options.
Design and Build Specifications
The frame is built from 2-inch galvanized steel pipes. This material choice ensures rust resistance and structural integrity for outdoor use. The listing notes the steel is lead-free, which addresses common safety concerns for backyard equipment. The A-frame design distributes weight evenly across the ground. This geometry provides superior stability compared to single-post stands. The finish is durable and resistant to fading, maintaining its appearance over time. You do not need to apply additional coatings or sealants to protect the metal from weather damage.
Overall dimensions are 124 inches wide, 68.5 inches long, and 72.8 inches high. The unit weighs 54.5 pounds. This weight requires ground anchoring for safety. The listing includes four pegs for installation. You must secure the set into the ground to prevent tipping during use. The footprint covers a significant area. Ensure your yard has enough clear space around the swing arc. The layout supports three simultaneous users. Each swing type serves a different play style. The saucer swing offers group seating. The belt swing allows traditional back-and-forth motion. The disc swing accommodates standing or sitting positions. This variety caters to different age groups and preferences within a single unit. The height allows for adequate swing clearance without requiring excessive yard depth.
Setup and everyday use
Setting up the Amictoy Triple Swing Set is straightforward. You assemble the frame and anchor it into the ground using four included pegs. The listing describes this process as quick, allowing you to get the unit ready for use in just a few minutes. The ground-mounted installation type ensures the structure remains stable during play. Once anchored, the set occupies a footprint of 124 inches wide, 68.5 inches long, and 72.8 inches high. Its total weight is 54.5 pounds, which provides a solid base without being overly cumbersome to position.
Daily use involves three distinct swinging options. The 32-inch saucer swing features Teslin fabric that dries quickly after rain. The 26.2-inch seat swing uses polymer plastic with a non-slip surface for secure seating. The third option is a disc swing made from high-strength, waterproof plastic. This disc allows for sitting or standing positions, accommodating users up to 165 pounds. This capacity means adults can join children on the disc swing safely.
The galvanized steel frame resists rust and fading, making it suitable for long-term outdoor exposure in backyards, patios, or parks. The U.S. safety certifications, including CPC and CPSIA, indicate the product meets specific regulatory standards. You simply set it up, secure it, and enjoy immediate outdoor activity. The design encourages time away from electronics, offering a durable solution for shared backyard play.
Check Space And Ground Needs
Before you buy the Amictoy Triple Swing Set, check your space. The unit measures 124 inches wide and 68.5 inches long. Ensure you have room for the full footprint plus clearance for swinging.
